About Library
Welcome to the Central Library, which is one of the central support services of SSGMCE Shegaon. The mission of the Central Library is: To provide information services and access to bibliographic and full text digital and printed resources to support the scholarly and informational needs of the Institute Community.
The Central Library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of CD-ROMs, On-line databases, audio video cassettes, books, e-journals,IEEE journals,Research, CSI, CSRI, Encyclopedia patents, e-standards, theses, reports,periodicals, papers of National and Inter-National Authors CD's, DVD's, Audio/ Video Cassettes monographs etc which spreads fragrance of knowledge.
The library homepage will provide electronic access to various full text & bibliographical databases & e-journals. I also invite you to visit the library in order to enjoy the wealth of printed resources available on our shelves.Our Central Library is well equipped neat and clean interior decorated. Having more than 91534 number of Text and Reference books. More than 29945 number of Titles. More than 1934 (Technical Print Editions 24, online e-journals 1907 and Non Technical Journals 03) number of Periodicals on various subjects including Online Periodicals. Also includes Educational/ Software /Entertainment CD's, Audio/ Video Cassettes."
Aims and objectives:
- Identify and provide access torelevant resources and recorded knowledge to support teaching, learning and creative activities.
- Provide Library services and resources to students.
- Maintain a current well balanced collection of information and knowledge resource.
- Create a culture and ambience that are conductive to study at all levels.
Library Rules:
- The staff member working on property counter are authorized to verify and examine everything that goes in or out of the Library.
- Books to be taken on loan should be presented at the Property Counter for verification and then only he/she would be allowed to take away.
- Identity Card is compulsory for getting access to the Library.
- Three books will be issued at a time to every student, if required.
- Book Issued to student for studying and reading purpose, hence handle with utmost care.
- The Books in the reference section, unbound periodicals and rare books are only meant for on-site consultation and not for Home issue.
- 75% class attendance is required for availing the Library facility.
- All the students are requested to switch of their mobiles or keep it on vibration mode.
- General etiquettes are expected from every student, as much loud speaking, discussion, shouting etc. are strickly prohabited.
- The Library will not be responsible for user's personal belonging / property lost in the library.
- The Library Reserve the Rights.

Monday to Saturday : 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 Night (Boys)Monday to Saturday : 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. (Girls) Sunday and Holiday : 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
